Error in Automated activity of BPM using the PI operation mapping.

Dear Experts,

We have a BPM process, where we have imported Operation Mapping, to use it in an automated activity. We have created the service reference with localhost and checked the local provider system check box and with type WS.

While running the scenario the process stops at the automated activity (having the Operation mapping), with error:

A technical error during invocation: Could not invoke service reference name

I have tried to recreate the step couple of times but it is always the same error.

Could you please share your expertise in how to over come the error.

Hello Colleagues,

with SAP PI 7.31 respectively with SAP PO, "Tools" moving in the Netweaver Developer Studio (NWDS).

Enterprise Service Repository as well Integration Directory now new in NWDS.

But what about with SLD, Service Registry, Netweaver Administrator, Configuration and Monitoring Home, etc.?

I am not quite sure which tools are now at NWDS and how i have these to configure in NWDS?

Is there any documentation available regarding this?

Hi Experts,

We have to start with the development of B2B scenario in SAP PO 7.4.

The scenario is as mentioned below :-

SAP ECC ------> SAP PO -----> B2B VAN Provider----> (various customers)

After going through some of the blogs, listed few points which seems to be confusing to me -

1) How the TPM configuration could be done in this case? We tried with one doc but its somehow confusing.

2) How the configuration will be done? Creation of party, agency and schema? Identifiers tab of the communication channel.

Gone through the above mentioned link, got confused about the configuration part.

As per my understanding,

Sender party --> no need to create as landscape is same.

Receiver party --> Mandatory to create, but what needs to be put in Agency, Schema and Value?(around 50+ customers for one VAN)

Is my understanding correct? Please correct if i am wrong.

Please guide, if someone has worked over B2B SAP PO 7.4.

Hi to everyone, My problem is:

I have an integration SOAP to SOAP on PO 7.4, the first step is obtain a TOKEN, then I want to save this token in cache or PO database, beacuse later I'll can use this token in other operation from other integration. So I need verify first if a TOKEN exists and if is the case use this TOKEN.

Any idea?

From a given adapter module, is there a way of calling different communication channels?

The scenario: The sender of the data is JMS. One single queue contains desperate text format. Based on the content of the first 4 characters , PI has to parse it differently in its own corresponding MT. The target IDoc structure remains the same. I have multiple messageTransformBeans set up, one for each MT assuming that the data would arrive in different JMS queues. However since the data is now all heaped on to a single queue, the challenge of routing the data now lies in SAP PI.

HowTo - Send Test Messages to the Adapter Engine (to an Integrated Configuration) - This solution does send message directly to the IE (using 7,1), but not to the adapter engine where the messageTransformBeans exist.

Any solid pointers in the direction will be really helpful.

Hello there,

Did anyone in here renew the 90 day trial SAP PO 7.3.1 / AWS Instance license successfully?

I followed the link of of Mariana Mihaylova 's blog:

This link points to the site for Minisap's license renewals (https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1kZSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/minisap/minisap.htm).

However there's no option for the C73 system name to choose for the license renewal for another 90 days.

Would be helpful if someone from SAP might have a look in it

I am working on PO 7.4. I want to test a payload from "Configuration and Monitoring Home". However, in the "Testing" tab, the option to test the payload is not available. Is this option not available in PO 7.4? Only cache connectivity test exists. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Hi All,

BPM is using a automated service where the service interface is imported from PI. it is asynchronous interface

But when the call is made from BPM to PI, I can see in Monitoring of PI it is Best Effort for synchronous calls.

And I see sender as BPM and receiver as Receiver system for one inbound call to PI and

other call is one sender system and receiver system as BPM .

how come the async call is transitioned to sync call when it comes to PI

I am doing a proof of concept interface on PO 7.3.1 using the new IDOC_AAE adapter. I am setting up a receiver scenario now and running into the error:

I have gone through the 3 blogs:

Unfortunately, they are really for PI 7.3.1 which is dual stack, meaning there is a gateway. However, PO 731 is pure java and there is no gateway. So steps like "local = true" and creating a JCO pointing to local PI will NOT work. I have already installed a standa alone gateway server and still could not get it to work. The help.sap.com doc is also tailored for PI 7.3.1 which assumes there is a local PI gateway service. Not sure if SAP is serious about PO yet as the PO doc on help.sap.com is almost non-existent.

Has anyone been able to get these 2 scenarios working? I would really appreciate if you can share your knowledge.

Hi everybody, I´m working in a PO environment, I´m not a BASIS guy and I want to be sure that I will not have problems with the Development Configuration after the initial phase, so, I need your help if you can check how I see the development configuration from NWDS and if you have some details about this, and maybe if you can share some link about the SCA that are needed in the PO (PI+BRM+BPM) environment will be great too.
