SAP PO, Trigger/Generate an custom alert from UDF using CBMA to Solman

Hi All,

I am aware of creating Component Based Alerts rule in NWA and solman as a consumer to send alerts in case of mapping error or failures. But i have a requirement where i need to send a alert message from my mapping program UDF to the alert rule created in NWA.

This is a basically a kind of validation warning message from my message mapping program which i need to send to solman. As the interface message will not fail, the error message will not be automatically captured using Component Based Alerts to solman.

How can i generate the alerts to send it when solman as consumer?

Please provide your input this.

Hi Experts,

In my new implementation project, we are going to install new landscape on PI 7.3 (EHP1) -PO (PI+BPM+BRM).

1. For this option, PO only comes with Single Java stack right? So, Is Eclipse tool (NWDS) mandatory for single Java installation ? Else,Can we work on existing Swing tools like ESR , ID ???

2. If we going for NWDS, which is mandatory transportation system ? CTS+ or CMS ? I came to know that CTS+ is can't be used if we not using Application server JAVA only and CMS is related to NWDS based !

3.If we are not using NWDS, how does NetWeaver BPM runs ?

I hope you can answer better.

I am installing introscope agent in PO java system(NW 7.40 and jvm version 6). Solman version is 7.1 and Wily introscope Enterprise manager version installed in Solman is 9.1.5.0 . please let me know which version of wily introscope agent should be installed on PO java system.

Hi Experts,

We want to migrate ABAP mapping interface(.csv File to idoc(1:n)) to new PO 7.4 single stack from PI 7.11 dual stack.

We tried with RFC functional module but no luck.

Please suggest how can we over come this situation.

Below is the samle file which is getting from source

Hi,

I am trying to develop a flow using NW BPM.

I have created a inbound Service interface in ESR which has external definition as message type. When I import it in BPM(using import WSDL option) , it created namespace and service interface within, which is perfect, but it did not create any data type under Data Types section.

My question is, how to create Data Objects artifact if service interface is developed using external definition.

I have created the BPM scenario following the William Li Blog.

I have added the SAP AS Java successfully (Go To > Window> Preference> SAP AS Java)

Rest all configuration done accordingly.

NWDS Version: 7.3 - EHP1-SP14-PAT0001

PO: 7.4 SP05

Build was successful whereas Deploy got failed

Dear All

When we moved from SAP XI3.0 to SAP PI 7.1 One of the methodologies was a clean export / import method.

This allowed us to create a clean migration route between systems whilst still allowing for productive support for PI Interfaces.

We are now thinking of upgrading from PI 7.4 to PI 7.4

One of the issues i'm thinking about is that once the Development landscape is migrated from 7.1 to Version 7.4 we potentially won't have productive support and be able to move interfaces across the landscape.

I'm looking for two potential answers.

1 )If you have a development system running PO 7.4, can you still migrate interfaces across the landscape from Dev-QA-Prod..... I'm assuming not.

If the answer to one is negative, has anyone any experience of the upgrade paths from 7.1 to 7.4 and is the best method an Upgrade in place. Or a clean installation of a 7.4 system and the migration of the Interfaces via an Export / Import

I'm just investigating scenarios at the moment.

Hi,

We are moving from PI 7.1 to PO 7.31 env, to single Java stack. We have few custom tables in ABAP stack today which we will need in JAVA stack as well.

Hence the question is, how is change log handled for tables in JAVA stack. Is there any document, blog etc that explains this?

I tried searching the forum but could find anything relevant for this. Any help is appreciated.

I have a synchronous scenario (REST-> PI -> PROXY)

I am getting request data from source system in a URL

https://serveraddress.com/dymax/services/restfull/reroute/field1=field2=field3

Actual data comes in field1, field2 and field3 in URL

Example : https://serveraddress.com/dymax/services/restfull/reroute/Marilyn-1234-Manager

How to configure this in Sender Rest Adapter ?

is there a way we can limit the number of "in progress" BPM running? I looked at Process Instance Memory Threshold however this is only a threshold for warning and error out bpm process.

We are experiencing a low in memory problem specially if the full GC is executed and I'm thinking if we can limit the processing this way.

Hello,

My system is not working since a change in the system resources (made by other person, so I don't know how it was performed).

My system is a SAP Netweaver 7.4.

OS: Windows Server 2012.

DB: Oracle 11.2g

I tried to start manually, but I'm getting the following error: Error 5. Acces denied.

I can start the service as Local System, but not as SAPService<SID>.

I have reinstalled the service, but the error persists.

Also checked all the permissions, but it seems that all permissions are correct.

The development system is configured exactly with the same setting, but it works.

Also tried to reinstall users SAPService<SID> and <SID>adm

Any idea?

We have a brand new PO Installation. After the installation according to the guide was done we wanted to connect to the CE system from NWDS using "SAP as Java" setting. We installed the latest NWDS from https://nwds.sap.com/swdc/downloads/updates/netweaver/nwds/nw/731/

Under "SAP as JAva" Settings in NWDS after entrying the "Instance Host name" and "Instance Number" and clicking ok the popup goes away and there is no entry in the list. Also no error message whatsoever. After i had a look in "Error log" I saw this:

Hi Experts,

Ignore my Ignorance i have a few stupid questions

1)Please give any documents on multimapping scenario implementation

2)I Know enhanced Receiver determination is available from SP06 of 7.0 is it available in ICO too? from which version of PI

3)Is my understanding right that multimapping(1:n) and enhanced receiver determination both can be used to send data from one sender to multiple receivers...

4)If yes then why we need two diffferent methods any advantage or special use case of any method over the other?

Has anyone worked on the Alert consumer Job called "AlertConsumerJobV2". This has a description "Simple alert consuming solution for generation of emails. Enhances and replaces the job AlertConsumerJob. It offers additional parameters and the possibility to use an email template.".

It says that you can use template for alert email. If anyone worked, can you please share the steps? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have a custom idoc and I want to import the meta data into our system. When I attempt to import it I receive an error

But when I attempt to import it into our dual stack 7.11 system from the same ECC system via IDX2 it works.

I am told that the iDoc is not released and that may be the problem BUT as I can import it into PI but not PO I am assuming that PO is a little more fussy about this. Can anyone suggest a solution, except for releasing the iDoc?
