Success factor issue

Hi Experts,

 

My scenario is Success factor to SFTP server. When I am trying to retrieve the data from Employee central using success factor (Sender adapter)  I am getting the below error .

 

Login was not successful .iaik.security.ssl.SSLSecurity certificateException:Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier

The query used to retrieve the data

 

SELECT person, personal_information, address_information, phone_information, email_information, employment_information, job_information, compensation_information, paycompensation_recurring, paycompensation_non_recurring, payment_information, job_relation, accompanying_dependent, global_assignment_information, direct_deposit, national_id_card, person_relation FROM CompoundEmployee

 


When I do the telnet its pinging .

 

Pls guide me if i am  missing any steps in SAP PO .

We are migrating interfaces from PI 7.10 to PO 7.4.



Can we migrate SFTP key store views from PI to PO or is there any alternate way??

Issue with IDOC_AAE Receiver channel configuration

Hi Experts,

 

After going through many unanswered blogs with same issue , I am opening a new thread.

 

I am working on a migration project and the interface is working fine in production(PI 7.1). But, testing the same interface in PO Sandbox(7.4) system is showing errors as mentioned below -

 

Error if configuring through NWA -

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCAdapterException: IDoc: Connection factory name for channel CC_IDOC_R_Common is null


Error if configuring Manually -

MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCAdapterException: Sender Partner Number is not available


**Points to be noted while analyzing the issue are mentioned below. Please go through and give your inputs -

1) Compared the payload of Production(7.1) and Sandbox(7.4), Output payload is getting generated and everything seems to be fine in mapping. In Sandbox, the control records are coming in the payload along with the generated IDOC. In Production, control records are not coming in output payload.


2) Added the component in header mapping in Sandbox, same as in Production. (INTEGRATION_SERVER_XXX)


3) Changed the property of JavaIdocAdapter in NWA, default sender port set to the port created in we21 in ECC system. Is this correct? or we need to put port of system? (mentioned in one of the SAP notes)


After trying many options mentioned over scn, still I am unable to resolve this issue.

 

Please guide me to solve this issue.

SAP PO (PI+BPM+BRM)

Hi Experts,

 

     In my new implementation project, we are going to install new landscape on PI 7.3 (EHP1) -PO (PI+BPM+BRM).

 

1. For this option, PO only comes with Single Java stack right? So, Is Eclipse tool (NWDS) mandatory for single Java installation ? Else,Can we work on existing Swing tools like ESR , ID ???

 

 

2. If we going for NWDS, which is mandatory transportation system ?  CTS+ or CMS ? I came to know that CTS+ is can't be used if we not using Application server JAVA only  and  CMS is related to NWDS based !

 

3.If we are not using NWDS, how does NetWeaver BPM runs ?

 

I hope you can answer better.

1. What are the list media  Software we need to download ?

2. Can we install on MS Sql Database is that available ? install on Oracle , HANA.  ?

3. if we want to Install on HANA What is the Basic Hardware Requirement for SAP PO 7.4 ?

4. If any one share Step by Step Documents its very Helpful ?

AlertConsumerJobV2 in PO 7.31 SP14

Hello Experts,

 

Has anyone worked on the Alert consumer Job called "AlertConsumerJobV2". This has a description "Simple alert consuming solution for generation of emails. Enhances and replaces the job AlertConsumerJob. It offers additional parameters and the possibility to use an email template.".

It says that you can use template for alert email. If anyone worked, can you please share the steps? Thanks in advance.

XMLDAS for PI 7.31

Hi Experts,

 

 

We have successfully configured archiving for PI 7.31 Single stack using XMLDAS. However, the file storage is now reaching its limit, do you have any idea on how to delete archived messages? I assume that deleting directly from the file system is would cause an issue therefore there must be a standard way of doing it.

Error in Migration tool

HI PI folks,

 

This is to seek help on an error in using Migration tool for migrating scenarios from PI7.10 to PO 7.4 EHP8.

 

We are using Scenario Migration option with Sender Agreement  option for scenario selection.

After scenario selection we are getting below error

 

Error is as follows:

Cannot migrate scenario. Details: Cannot read the Sender Agreement object because the Migration Tool uses the old 7.0 version of the Directory API to read from the source system and the object requires a higher version


Strange thing is that, this is not the case for all interfaces. We are getting this error only for few interfaces.


Please help to get rid of this error.

We are planning to upgrade/migrate from SAP PO 7.4 to 7.5. Have you encountered any minor or major issues during migration?

How to implement the logic of devide with 1000 in PI?

HI Experts,

 

I have requirement that need to divide the value with 1000 when ever the field value has five numeric digits. The value will be like

 

1. 12.123415

2. 123.12312322

3. 1.2312

4. 12345.5678922

 

But  the logic of divide with 1000 has to applicable at case: 4 only.

 

Please help me here.

Importing project from HCI eclipse to HCI WebUI

Hi,

 

Could you please share your ideas on how to import an HCI  project from HCI tenant into HCI WebUI.

 

NOTE:It's custom developed project in eclipse and deployed into HCI tenant.

 

I tried the option of downloading the project into local machine and then importing the same file into HCI webUI ,but it's(WebUI) not accepting the file.

AEX or Web Dispatcher in DMZ ?

Hello,

My company is running a centralized SAP PI/PO  AEX and BPM (7.4), java only, to which many internal systems connect.  We have a new requirement to process messages from external vendors. Corporate Security is insisting that we have the external users authenticate in the DMZ.  With this stipulation, our options seem to be limited to building an AEX in the DMZ with a load balancer in front of it, whether it's Cisco or SAP WD.  The problem with this is that we also are trying to limit the complexity/footprint of the applications in the DMZ (simpler apps have less maintenance needs).  An AEX instance  will require failover capability and a database both also in the DMZ.

Can we do this with the SAP Web Dispatcher alone in the DMZ?  I have read the document regarding SAP Web Dispatcher Security and it seems that, although we can provide layers of filtering, there is still no authentication capability.

Are there alternatives that I am missing here?

Difference in record count ?

Hi Experts

 

We have a interface for inventory adjustment  from RMS to Webserver in which we are picking 5000  records for each poll interval and these 5000 rows updated successfully according to audit log.But when i check in the payload the number of records are decreased to 4900 and these 4900 are successfully inserted in Webserver. Kindly let me know why these records are missing.

 

I have mentioned transaction isolation level as serializable.

HCI Custom functions using Groovy Script

Hi,

 

As of now we don't have PI/PO in our landscape .So for writing custom Functions in mapping I need to go for Groovy script.

 

I have a simple requirement of string array concatenation .

 

Below is my code snippet for the same:

 

import com.sap.it.api.mapping.*;
def String StringArrayConcatFunc(String Text[]){  def a ;     a = Text.join(",");    return a ;
}

I executed the above code in standalone groovy console ,its working fine .I created the custom function in mapping and used the above code -->save

 

Now when I click on "ExecuteChecks" or when I deploy the project it's showing error in mapping @custom function that I used saying "

Mapping contains incomplete expressions"

But I can able to see the file in the folder.

Seems groovy script file is not loading into functional library while executing checks or while deploying into tenant.

 

Dear HCI experts could you please advice.It would be really helpful for me as well as others those who are new to using groovy script in HCI. Looping in @Sujit Hemachandran  .

Unfortunately, they are really for PI 7.3.1 which is dual stack, meaning there is a gateway. However, PO 731 is pure java and there is no gateway. So steps like "local = true" and creating a JCO pointing to local PI will NOT work. I have already installed a standa alone gateway server and still could not get it to work. The help.sap.com doc is also tailored for PI 7.3.1 which assumes there is a local PI gateway service. Not sure if SAP is serious about PO yet as the PO doc on help.sap.com is almost non-existent.

 

Has anyone been able to get these 2 scenarios working? I would really appreciate if you can share your knowledge.

SEND_CONSUMER_ERROR after adding UNA and UNB segments in mapping

Hi Experts,

 

I am getting the below error after I have added the UNA and UNB segment in the mapping.

Previously, the configuration was working fine.

 

Error Description

--------------------------------

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection IDoc_AAE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Can not find Segment Elements for messageVersion 96A, message subversion 000000, message agency UN, segment S_UNB, newFirstlevelElement C_S001, currentIndexLevel1 0

 

UNB segments were showing the error, but after disabling that field I am getting error in UNH segment.

I am not sure why the structure is having the issue. I tried many things changing in TPM and configuration but nothing worked.

 

If anyone has faced this problem, please help on this issue.

REST Adapter: Problem converting XML containing arrays to JSON

Hi all,

 

we are using REST as a Sender Adapter. Works (almost ) like a charm

 

The problem we are facing is that we have an Array-like Element in the Repsonse XML DataType. Depending on the amount of actual elements in the array, the element gets converted to a JSON Array or JSON OBject.

 

E.g. If the element contains exactly 1 item, it is converted to a JSON object. If it contains more than one item, it is comverted to an array. if it contains no elements, it is not contained in JSON at all.

 

Case 1: More than one element in XML

 

consider following response XML:

<resultlist>  <item><value>item 1</value></item>  <item><value>item 2</value></item>  <item><value>item 3</value></item></resultlist>

it gets correctly converted to

{    "result": {        "item": [            {  "vlaue": "item 1"  },            {  "vlaue": "item 2"  },            {  "vlaue": "item 3"  }        ]    }
}

 

Case 2: Single element in XML

 

consider following response XML:

<resultlist>  <item><value>item 1</value></item></resultlist>

it gets NOT correctly converted to

{    "result": {        "item":            {  "vlaue": "item 1"  }    }
}

expected result:

{    "result": {        "item": [            {  "vlaue": "item 1"  }        ]    }
}

Case 3: No elements in XML

 

consider following response XML:

<resultlist/>


it gets NOT correctly converted to

{    "result": ""
}

 

expected result:

{    "result": {        "item": []    }
}

Bottomline

 

The point is that the consumer of the result cannot rely on the structure of the content. Sometimes the element is just en element, sometimes it is an array, sometimes it isn't even there...

 

 

 

The issue has been addressed at the following locations, but I havent found a solution and/or a note yet...
